  Unit 2 Last weekend

 一、教学目标

 1.知识目标:

 (1)学生能够听、说、读、写单词和词组read a book, saw a film, had a cold, slept, last weekend/ night/ Monday, yesterday, the day before yesterday。

 (2)巩固重点句型:What did you do last weekend? I ... . Did you...? Yes, I did.

  (3)总结归纳常见的一般过去式动词的规则和不规则形式 。

 2.能力目标:

  能够正确使用上述单词和词组描述人物在过去时间做的事情。

 3.情感目标:

 (1)通过本课语言知识的学习,?培养学生合理安排生活的能力,使自己的生活更加丰富多彩。了解并运用微博,记录自己的快乐生活。

 (2)了解中西方文化习俗,会关心他人,当别人感冒的时候说“Bless you!”。

 (3)培养学生读书的好习惯,丰富知识,开阔眼界。

 二、教学重、难点

 1.本课时的教学重点是四会掌握单词和词组read a book, saw a film, had a cold, slept, last weekend/ night/ Monday, yesterday, the day before yesterday。

 2.本课时的教学难点是正确运用动词过去式和时间状语描述过去发生的事情。

 一、学生课前课外活动设计:

 1.通过调查,填写同学的周末活动调查表,如下:

 2.完成partA部分对话的角色扮演练习,熟练掌握一般过去时的基本问答句子。能够听说读写partA部分的词汇和对话。

 3.通过预习,完成let`s try部分。

 4.Divide all the students into three groups“Yesterday”、“Today”、“Tomorrow”。Ask the students which day is the most important day? Let`s have a competition.

 Step1 Warming-up& Revision Speak faster.

 1.教师询问学生Today let`s talk about our weekends, ok?“what do you usually do on the weekend?”

 2.Free talk.

 I usually do housework on the weekend. But last weekend I listened to music and watched TV. What about you?通过询问学生的上周末活动,复习学生学过的动词过去时词组,教师适时对学生的周末活动给予指导。T: What did you do last weekend? Ss: I… T: Did you…? Yes/No.

 3.询问学生下一周末的打算。在复习了一般周末活动以及上一周末的活动,自然引入到学生下一周末的安排。与本课的I want to…句型联系起来。T: what do you want to do next weekend? Ss选择合适的词组回答。

 Step2 Presentation

 1.Guessing. 看Amy和John的图片,what do they want to do?

 2.Watch the video and choose. They want to go to the _bookstore_. They want to buy the new _____ magazine.并板。教师拿出一本真正的film magazine,边让学生看,边问答was it interesting?

 教师简单介绍几种杂志的名字。通过几种不同杂志的介绍练习语境中的句型It talked about a lot of new films。教师简单教给学生如何发音,课件出示不同的电影类型,问学生喜欢什么样的电影并说出原因。请学生一起欣赏三部电影片段,分别为:《Cinderella》、《Wolf Totem》、《Super Corps》增强学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生热爱电影、热爱生活的健康休闲方式。

 3.师:So many films, did John see the film last weekend? What did John do last weekend? 通过出示此卡朗读,帮助学生更快掌握单词的音形义。对比原形动词和过去式。

 对比阅读B选项:He had a cold. He played sports all weekend and watched TV.请学生说出哪一个更加better. 在感冒后,我们应该如何处理,通过对比,请学生选择健康的方式应对疾病并且渗透单词better的用法。

 4.教师做咳嗽状,说:I had a cold. I feel bad. What should you say?礼貌用语在英语文化中也是非常重要的。教师连续举出I had a headache. I had a sore throat. I had a fever. 引导学生礼貌地说出 I`m sorry to hear that. 教师最后用I slept and feel better now. 引导学生说出I`m happy you feel better now. 以上两句话在小组内开展练习。

 5.John feels better now. They are going to the bookstore by _____ because it`s faster than walking. 学生说出bus,教师提出问题:If you are John or Amy, how are you going to the bookstore? 请同学们发挥思维能力,根据自己的想法选择去书店的交通方式并说明原因。从而,教师带领学生认识更多交通工具,尤其是high speed rail新拓展的一个交通工具供给学生参考。将各种交通工具将加以比较,从而引出faster一词。在一个tongue twister中让学生体会faster语义以及发音规律,并且引出奥运口号:faster,higher and stronger。

 Step3. Listen and repeat. 教师播放录音,学生仔细逐句模仿。教师要提醒学生注意学习录音中的语音语调。

 Step4. Read in roles. Ask the students to read like this: boys act John, girls act Amy. Act this dialogue in pairs.

 Show time.

 Step5 Retelling. The teacher asks the students to retell this dialogue according to the phrases on the blackboard. Then the students can retell the dialogue in pairs.

 Step 6 Make a new dialogue. Ask the students to Talk about your weekend with your partner. M

 Make a new dialogue like.

 Step7. Extension

 Do a summary. Before class. I divided you into 3 groups,“Yesterday”\“Today”\“Tomorrow”. We only have 3 days in our life. Which day will win?

  Show the students a poem:

 Yesterday is a history. Tomorrow is a mystery.

 But today is a gift.

  That`s why it`s called “present”.

 Weekend activities in foreign countries. Watch the video and know the different activities for foreign children.

 Step8 Homework

 1.Make a survey on your parents` weekend.

 2.Write down your plan for next weekend.

 学生看图片快速说出句子,

 I usually….限时游戏。

 从而复习一般现在时态的句子及词组,激活学生已学的背景知识。

 学生说出自己的上周末活动,教师与学生开展交流,为学生的周末活动给出建议。

 学生根据图片提示,选择合适的词组,说出句子。

 学生用“Do they want to…?”来猜测两位同学去做什么了,同时培养学生听力之前的预测文本内容的习惯。

 学生看视频并选择回答,齐读两句文本。

 学生浏览杂志并回答老师的问题。

 了解几种不同杂志的名称

 看图片,练习句型it talked about a lot of….

 按意群朗读的习惯培养。

 请学生试着读一读几个句子,练习句型。

 Students watch the video again and circle the correct answer.

 学生齐读:He had a cold. He stayed at home all weekend and slept.

 学生读B项

 He had a cold. He played sports all weekend and watched TV.

 学生说出自己的观点,为什么B项不恰当。

 引导学生说出“I`m sorry to hear that.”

 学生在语境中练习礼貌用语I`m sorry to hear that.”

 同时带领学生整合了旧版pep教材关于疾病的内容。

 学生说出I`m happy you feel better now.同样是礼貌用语的用法。

 学生齐读John feels better now. They are going to the bookstore by _____ because it`s faster than walking.

 在此渗透不同交通工具的速度比较,整合第一单元知识。同时让学生知道不同交通工具的速度对比,增加了high speed rail等交通工具。一起与学生总结。

 学生回答这一开放性问题。同学们发挥思维能力,根据自己的想法选择去书店的交通方式并说明原因。

 练习A good cook can cook good food. 学生通过自己参与体验,发现读句子更快的方式,把词组意群读在一起。

 齐读奥运口号。整合第一单元知识。

 Listen and repeat sentence by sentence.

 请学生两人一组带上头饰,分角色扮演两个人物表演对话。

 学生填空并读出retelling的内容。
